After getting home from Costco, I got me some chicken salad and crackers and put on Fool's Gold. It's rated PG-13 and runs 113 minutes. First off, let me preface this by saying I'm a Matthew McConaughey fan. I'm not saying he's a fantastic actor, but he's good to look at and I enjoy listening to him. It's a nice, authentic Texas accent instead of one of those horrible fake ones.

Pretty much a slacker with the idea of finding a great treasure one day. Then we meet Tess (Kate Hudson), who is working for a billionaire on his yacht. She's getting ready to divorce Finn. The fun then ensues where Finn & Tess meet up and finally put all the pieces together, with the help of the billionaire's money, to find their sunken treasure. There was nothing totally original in the story, but it was enjoyable. McConaughey & Hudson do have chemistry together. The side players were entertaining, too.
Another major plus is that McConaughey is shirtless is much of the movie! lol Unfortunately, he's sporting a horrible hairstyle, even for a slacker. I would recommend this movie if you're a fan of either, or treasure hunting. Lots of scuba diving going on, too.

Yes, I agree. Matthew McConaughey is very easy on the eyes. Have you heard the Nicaragua story? He was drunk and digging in a sewage ditch yelling "I can't find my flip flop!" Pure awesomeness!
I love him because he has the kook, but he is still very down to earth!
I guess it's all about good looks and being a Texan!
Party on Matthew!!
You must be busy because you sure aren't blogging!
I'm glad to hear Matthew McConaughey has the "kook!" Is that the zone word for the day?
