The Drowsy Viewer

Today is theater day. We're going to see The Drowsy Chaperone. I got to see this in 2006 when I was in NYC. I didn't have a clue what it was about, but totally fell in love with it. The touring cast is getting rave reviews, also. So I'm really excited to be seeing it. If I can stay awake!! LOL
Last night was our monthly game night. Well, most of the girls wants to play Scattegories. The guys usually end up joining us. Well, Mary Ann cannot stand to play Scattegories. She can handle a few rounds, but that's it. Three at most. So we're all sitting around the pool watching the kids swim when Mary Ann mentions that she wouldn't mind singing some karaoke. That's all it took for George (and Julie) to get the Karaoke machine out and hooked up. Needless to say, we sang late into the night. We covered every genre, did solos, duets, group numbers. It was a great night! Just a really long one. I was home in bed around 2:00. Then up early this morning to do some stuff around the house and get my shopping done. I didn't do it yesterday. I found out today that Sunday morning is a great time to go, though! Hardly any people out. I guess they're all in church. Oh, well, makes it easier for ME to shop! LOL
I'm including a video that is a synopsis of The Drowsy Chaperone. Enjoy!
