There are too many choices to be made! Every time I turn around I've got to decide on something else....paint colors; granite color, edge style; cabinet color, design; cabinet handles, pulls, knobs...it's never ending it seems.
So here are the granite colors I've narrowed it down to (I think!):
Santa Cecelia:
Giallo Ornamental:
New Venetian Gold:
Which do you like? I have my preference, which I'll keep to myself not to sway anyone.
Edge choices:
Again, I have my preference. How about yours?
I think I've decided on a paint color. I cannot post a picture of it because the Behr site won't let me save it. But I'll see if I can't send a link to it: Behr Paint Color I like the Oak Straw and Cozy Cottage. Then if you click the down arrow under the paint color, Mochochino comes up and I like it. My thought is to possibly do the Cozy Cottage throughout. On the columns and the beam running across the top there, do the Oak Straw or Mochachino and one of the two on the top of the fireplace. I did a sample of Oak Straw and I like it. It is darker than I thought I would go. But with all the light I have in my house now, it's not too bad. And, yes, I'm wimping out on doing one color (beige at that), but then I can use pillows, drapes, accessories to add color throughout. I also still want to do a green color on the backsplash. Again, choices!!
So that's it for now. Brad is working on putting the cabinets together. Hopefully I'll have pictures or videos to post by the end of the week.
Also, on Sunday went and saw The Full Monty at the Water Tower Theater in Addison. It was a birthday gift from my friend Mary Ann. It was very funny. And, yes, they did the "full monty" at the end just like in the movie....lol

Well I looked at the paint, and I like the oat straw with the mochino or whatever it was. on the granite I liked the first 2 not the last one, it looked to pink. And on the edges way to many choices. lol I know you will make the right choice. Glad you liked the Full Monty. talk to you later

Let's see if I can remember all this...I couldn't look at the paint because I grew impatient waiting for my computer to bring up the site. I guess everyone in the world is online right now.
I persoanlly like the last granite, but for you I like the second one. It just seems very "you." Whatever that means. Ha! Ernie says the last one looks pink. It didn't on my computer, so that probably means my colors on my computer are way off so you wouldn't want to listen to me anyway! LOL
As far as the edges are concerned, if you want to keep it simple, I'd say the round top and bottom. If you're just gonna go for it and get all flucy, I'd pick the bevel top and bottom.
Good luck!!!
